Invisalign vs. Braces for Adults
Most adults can choose either. The decision usually comes down to complexity and lifestyle.
Appearance and comfort
Clear aligners are nearly invisible and have no brackets to irritate cheeks. For adults who present in meetings or on camera every day, that matters.
Discipline required
Aligners only work while they are in your mouth. Twenty to twenty-two hours a day is the requirement, and treatment stalls for patients who leave them out.
When braces win
Severe rotations, significant bite corrections and large vertical movements are still handled more predictably with fixed braces.
Time and cost
For comparable cases the timelines and fees are now similar. The right question is not which is cheaper but which will finish your case properly.
